Bed Bugs Description Toronto

Bed Bugs tend to be red-brownish in colour, approximately 3 ½ inches long at full maturity and have a flat oval type body. They go through 5 molt stages from egg to adults. They can be different in size and colour from translucent to yellowish. Due to their nocturnal behavior it becomes difficult to identify the full scope of the problem until detailed inspection has been done by a pest technician.

Signs of Infestation

Bed Bug infestation can be located by highly trained pest technicians along with the help of numerous clues such as:
Bed bug fecal dropping

· Alive and dead bed bugs

· Blood stains on bed sheet

· Unexplained swelling on arms feet legs and other parts of the body

· Discarded exoskeleton

The level of infestation can be determined after examining all of these possible causes. If not detected on time infestation can increase rapidly and become out of control. This can cause a chain reaction where other residences can also become infected. The best solution to eliminate bed bugs is to treat the area and the surrounding perimeter immediately.
